For more than 25 years, I have had the privilege of helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, find greater balance, and create meaningful change. I believe that seeking support is a sign of strength and that everyone deserves a safe, compassionate space where they can feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2001 and am an approved LPC licensure supervisor. My educational background includes a B.S. from the University of Oklahoma, along with graduate degrees from Columbia University, including an M.A. in Counseling Psychology and an M.Ed. in Psychology in Education.
Neurofeedback & Whole-Person Wellness
In addition to counseling, I have been a neurofeedback clinician since 2019. Neurofeedback can be a valuable complement to traditional counseling, offering another way to support the brain and nervous system while working toward improved emotional regulation, focus, stress management, and overall well-being.
Whether you are experiencing a difficult season, struggling with anxiety or depression, adjusting to a major life change, or simply feel ready for something to be different, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be.
Areas of Specialty

For the past 10 years, I have had the opportunity to help individuals navigate challenges, better understand themselves, and create meaningful change in their lives. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process where clients feel comfortable, supported, and empowered to work toward their goals.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my approach is centered around understanding the whole person—not simply focusing on a diagnosis or a particular problem. I strive to create a supportive, judgment-free space where clients can explore their experiences, develop practical tools, and build greater emotional balance and resilience.
Brain-Based Care & Neurofeedback
In addition to my work as a counselor, I have developed a strong passion for neurofeedback and brain-based wellness. In 2024, I completed the certification process to become a BCIA-Certified Neurofeedback Clinician, further expanding my ability to support clients through evidence-informed, brain-based training.
I enjoy integrating traditional counseling approaches with neurofeedback when appropriate, recognizing that mental and emotional well-being can involve both the mind and the brain. Neurofeedback offers real-time training designed to help the brain develop healthier and more efficient patterns, supporting areas such as emotional regulation, focus, stress management, and overall well-being.
Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, navigating a major life transition, or simply ready for something to change, my goal is to meet you where you are and work alongside you as you move toward greater balance and the life you want to create.

"When I started neurofeedback in the fall of 2019, I was unable to walk due to extreme nerve and arthritic pain. I had terrible Allodynia, likely from a combination of fibromyalgia and traumatic brain injury which brought tears of pain when receiving a hug or simple touch. Additionally, my thinking was more than clouded - it was non existent and I was virtually non-verbal. I mixed up nearly everything - from streets to days to dates to words (when I was finally able to speak again), and all else in between. I could barely sign my own checks (after my mom made out the amounts and determined what bills were due). I literally was a non-functioning single mom.
Then a miracle happened!! My mom found Peaceful Mind and their neurofeedback therapy.
Within two months of twice weekly neurofeedback sessions I was able to walk and talk and sign checks. Pain levels drastically decreased and I started getting my life back. Now I can walk and even dance, I manage all my household finances and mom duties. Neurofeedback has such a positive impact in my life, and I am blessed to have found Stella and Jordan - they are the kindest, most caring therapists possible. You will not be disappointed with the care and results provided!!"
"I cannot say enough good things about Peaceful Mind. I see Jordan for telehealth therapy and have been to a few sessions of neurofeedback. I highly recommend both the practice and neurofeedback! You will not get another experience like this with the heart behind it like you do here! You won’t be sorry you chose them or this type of therapy!"

My brain is now less vulnerable to stress reactions, has improved resiliency, and can now focus on ordinary events. (Like paying bills, showing up to work on time, not getting drunk/high, no more iron fist of anxiety eating away at my guts.)
Neurofeedback rewires the brain to no longer be pre-set on fight, flight,
freeze, fawn but as calm and open to new experiences. For example, the explosive, furious, raging anger has evaporated leaving only a calm, peaceful, serene day-to-day experience…
EVEN WHEN confronted with situations and issues that in the past would have made me a screaming, raging woman, capable of doing and saying things that caused me great shame.
I personally found it impossible to hold a job long term, fight or flight kicking in at the absolute worst times, having
zero understanding that thinking things through was an option. I am now sprinting towards my goals, making good, healthy, long-term decisions to make my life look the way I WANT it to
look."
